Knots and Niggles
My approach at Knots and Niggles is that therapies should benefit not only physical health, but also mental and emotional wellbeing.
If the body and mind are relaxed during massage and other therapies, the body can release tension so it is then possible to work deeper and benefit more. This is where the most effective massage and relaxation can take place and is why I consider creating the right environment essential to our time together.
So you will find the environment at Knots and Niggles a place you want to come back to, time and time again.
About Danielle
I begun my path to massage and holistic therapies thanks to my Sports Massage Therapist (SMT). I was a regular client due to running a community circus in Portsmouth meaning aches and tight muscles were the norm!
I’ve always enjoyed watching people improve, which is why I worked at and then ran, the community circus for many years until its closure. Teaching adults and children aerial trapeze showed me just how important maintaining your body and knowing its limits can be.
Every student was different in the way they learnt and the techniques they used. This meant that I tailored my approach for each one of them. This notion is something that I have continued into my new career.
Turning 30 along with my encouraging SMT, I decided to change career before the end was neigh!
A year on and I have not looked back.
